Introduction After identification of pitfalls of AIDS, in the year 2001, United States successfully contributed $300 million to Global Fund to arise fight for Malaria, Tuberculosis and AIDS in Geneva. Two years later, Bush administration along with lady Bush successfully launched President’s emergency plan to provide support for HIV/AIDS program that would benefit numerous countries globally. Though initially emphasis was given on 15 countries, soon it attained the peak of success in its anti-AIDS effort with its collaborative partnership with Global Fund. The major aim of this study is to highlight contributions of non-profit organizations in combatting AIDS/HIV from Africa.
